As the Food Service Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service operations, including kitchen management, catering, banquet services, and restaurant operations. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional food service experiences. Duties: - Develop and implement food service policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations - Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations - Oversee menu planning and food preparation to ensure high-quality meals are served - Coordinate catering services for special events and functions - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper sanitation standards - Collaborate with vendors to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices - Maintain financial records and prepare budgets for food service operations - Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in the food service industry Experience: - Proven experience in kitchen management and food service operations - Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - Experience in catering and banquet services - Previous experience in restaurant management is preferred - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
