The Food & Beverage Cashier will provide exceptional customer service while providing transactions and processing of sales for Food and Beverage Department. Responsible for taking ownership of your work area and providing all guests a safe and sanitized dining experience.

Position: F&B Mountain Cashier

Position Type: Seasonal

Performance Expectations

• Understand products offerings, specials, pricing and pair guests with best product fit
• Responsible for arriving on time to open and prepare for the daily operations
• Welcomes guests in a positive and friendly manner
• Accurately and efficiently process food orders
• Ability to handle high volumes of customer interaction
• Always deliver exceptional guest service by being engaging, friendly and knowledgeable
• Never tell a guest “I don’t know,” always work to find the answer for guests and provide a positive resolution to guest inquiries
• Assist and follow through with resolution of guest complaints; handle concerns and suggestions
• Perform daily sales and closing and be held responsible for your end of day point of sale close out
• Work on a computer with a high degree of accuracy, while maintaining customer contact
• Willing to cross-train and work in all areas/locations of Powder Mountain
• Take initiative to perform duties which help facilitate operations and maintain cleanliness of your work area
• Dress professionally and always maintain professional front facing courtesy
• Provide exceptional guest service
• Responsible for the front end including stocking candy, chips, drinks, coffee, cocoa, condiments, and any other items in the front
• Responsible for making sure the tables are clean and sanitized. Sanitizing and replenishing all trays.
• Responsible for frequent cleaning and sanitizing all tables, chairs and high touch areas.
• Adhere to all Powder Mountain Policies and Procedures

Requirements

• Guest service experience preferred
• Computer knowledge, ability to type quickly and accurately
• Cash handling experience preferred
• Ability to do basic math accurately and quickly
• Has good work ethic and dependable.
• Team Player!
• Able to work holidays, weekends and possibly nights
• Great attitude, positive mindset, and able to adapt to any situation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate amount of weight (up to 40lbs )
• Sufficient physical ability and mobility to walk, sit and stand for prolonged periods of time
• Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common F & B/Sales equipment on a constant basis
• Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements

Work Environment: Work is primarily performed in an indoor environment; exposure to noise, dust, mechanical and electrical hazards, and cleaning chemicals. Occasionally exposed to outdoor climate in which employee will be exposed to a variety of temperatures/weather.
