Food & Beverage Cashier processes customers' bills. Handles cash and credit transactions. Being a Food & Beverage Cashier maintains receipts, records, and withdrawals. May be responsible for checking materials and supplies and reporting when stock is low. Additionally, Food & Beverage Cashier may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Food & Beverage Cashier possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. · Assure product quality and consistency is maintained.
· Daily communication with the Food & Beverage Director
· Monitor and enforce compliance with all pertinent local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to food sanitation operations and employment.
· Adhere to and hold staff accountable to policies and standards set by Sebasco and state laws pertaining to alcohol consumption.
· Assist in the development of staff work schedules and approve and monitor staff time sheet compliance.
· Perform coaching, training, and development with direct reports.
· Promote guest satisfaction throughout the resort.
· Promote creativity and innovation with the staff through specials and contests.
· Maintain a cohesive environment between the FOH & BOH
· Assist F&B Director with employee documentation.
· Run Daily Reports, Cash Policy and enforcement.
· Other Duties as assigned.
