This position serves as Hotline Operator answering inquiries through the Customer Service Hotline, while providing administrative support for department manager and station operations.

Job Duties:

• Using empathy, active listening, patience, problem solving and excellent communication skills, answers incoming customer calls and resolves (when possible) customer complaints and inquiries in a timely manner.
• Refers unresolved complaints to supervisor as necessary.
• Assist repair facilities with inquiries regarding testing procedures.
• Monitor’s station wait times and notifies appropriate department manager.
• Processes out of State Extensions and electric vehicle exemptions, including logging and tracking monthly.
• Files and tracks Repair Data Forms for accurate completion of the Vehicle Emission Repair Index.
• Generates test volume, BMV transaction, tests per labor hour and station start-up reports and distributes as appropriate.
• Monitors and tracks completed customer experience surveys and Google reviews, reporting on program statistics monthly.
• Assists department managers in interview scheduling and other aspects of the new hire process as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years clerical/administrative experience
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to answer high volume of telephone calls.
• Valid Driver's License and excellent driving record.
• Successful completion of criminal and civil background checks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
