Bindery Operator - Folder

Day Shift or 2nd shift Open

• Set up, operate and maintain folder equipment to produce a printed product for the customer.
• Follow work orders and customer specs accurately.
• Monitor work and adjust machine controls for lengths and thickness of folds, along with adjusting speeds.
• Make trial runs to verify accuracy of machine set ups.
• Adhere to quality best practices for inspecting and monitoring the output on the machine.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• General maintenance and troubleshooting on machine.
• Assist with hand bindery work as directed.
• Follow all company policies and safety protocols.
• Must comply with all company policies, follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) related to job function and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’S).
• Must be able to work OT as required.

Knowledge/Skills:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Bindery operator experience preferred or machine operations experience helpful.
• Good communication skills and able to get along with others.
• Mechanical aptitude desired.
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
• Commitment to company values.

Looking for candidates with good work history with strong time/attendance performance.

Must provide work references and be able to successfully pass pre-employment screenings (background check and drug test).
