Admissions RN – Spanish Speaking required

Direct Hire: Full-time
Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday from 3 pm - 11:30 pm and there is some flexibility but that can be discussed with the Director of Nursing. No on-call rotation required.
Area: Los Angeles & Orange County
Exclusive Spanish-speaking hospice provides clinical care and empathetic support to help patients reach their healthcare goals.
Hands-on training will be provided to ensure the employee is comfortable accomplishing their assigned tasks. Supervisors are readily available to provide guidance and support.
Responsibilities:
• Assess and admit patients for hospice care
• Plan, coordinate, and implement health services for new patients
• Provide clinical oversight of medications and plan of care
• Review clinical documentation for consistency and accuracy
• Deliver Explanation of Benefits (EOB's) to patients
• Provide director support and general clerical duties related to position
Qualifications:
• Current California RN license
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is REQUIRED
• Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience
• Licensed and insured driver in the state of California
• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment screening
• Must have working knowledge of the following:
• State, Federal, and Joint Commission regulations
• General nursing theories, techniques, and practice
• Medicare and Medi-Cal guidelines for hospice agencies
