Monroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is currently hiring a Folder-Packer for a luxury linen warehouse located in Fall River, MA. The ideal candidate will possess warehouse experience and understand how to follow procedures to perform routine packing and folding work.
Hours: 3:00pm – 11:45pm 2nd shift, 8 hours
Salary: $18.58/hour
Responsibilities of a Packer
- Fold, pack, weigh and label completed items for shipment or storage
- Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging to ensure items arrive at their destination
- Identify and dispose of defective items before they are shipped to customers
- Properly use packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, nails, padding, etc
- Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse
- Proven work experience as a Packer or similar role
- Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred
- Basic shop skills, such as using hand tools
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Bilingual a plus
- Able to work at a fast pace
