The Inpatient Clinical Manager RN plays a vital role in overseeing unit functions, providing expert guidance, and managing departmental operations. This includes responsibilities tied to acute and post-acute care services, care coordination, transition of care management, clinical data retrieval, reporting standards, and state policy implementation. This role is integral in devising, enacting, and evaluating clinical programs as per organizational goals. As a leader, you will mentor, coach, solve challenges, review performance, hire, train, and manage any necessary disciplinary actions.
QUALIFICATIONS - Experience: - Minimum 5 years of clinical background, mandatory.
At least 1 year in a leadership role, mandatory
3 years in Utilization Management
Proven supervisory and people management skills, mandatory
Proficient in verbal and written communication
Comfortable with technology, able to adapt to various software platforms.
A proactive mindset, capable of both independent and team-oriented tasks
Education:
Active, unrestricted California RN license
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution, mandatory.
A Master's degree in Nursing
Certification in Case Management (CCM) or (ACM), highly desirable.
