Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Floral Designer is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Experienced Floral Designer
Responsibilities include daily floral orders, funeral floral work, gift merchandizing, POS operation, customer service, construction of gift/candy baskets, floral deliveries, etc. Store hours currently are M-F 9-5, Sat 2-6 but may include after hours and/or weekends depending on work load. Employees should be willing to work extra hours/after hours if necessary (however, even full time employees rarely work in excess of 40 hours/week).
Floral experience is a requirement. Certification is not required but preferred. Pay level depends on experience and certification. Please detail shops where you were employed. Claiming floral experience without details of employment will not be considered floral experience.
