As the Director of Operations at Vantg Commercial Flooring, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of flooring projects. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing projects to completion, ensuring that quality, timelines, and client satisfaction are consistently met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Job Installation Planning. Collaborate with project managers to polan job installations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and logistical coordination.
2. Materials & Supplies Management. Ensure timely ordering and availability of materials and supplies required for installations, maintain optimal inventory levels to support project timelines.
3. Installer Selection & Scheduling. Select and schedule installers based on project requirements, skills and availability, coordinating with subcontractors as needed.
4. Safety Inspections. Conduct regular safety inspections at job sites to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
5. Quality Inspections. Perform quality inspections to uphold high standards of craftsmanship and service excellence, addressing any issues or deficiencies promptly.
6. Resource Allocation. Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency and productivity while minimizing waste.
7. Vendor & Supplier Relations. Cultivate strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing, reliable delivery, and quality products and services.
8. Process Improvement. Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency enhancements, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
9. Team Leadership. Provide strong leadership and guidance for the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
10. Communication & Collaboration. Facilitate open commjunication and collaboration across departments, ensuring alignment between operations, sales, project management, and other functional areas.
