Job Description: Fine Dining Floor Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations, from front-of-house to back-of-house.
- Maintain an expert-level understanding of Japanese cuisine, culture, and dining etiquette to enhance guest experiences.
- Lead and inspire the team to consistently deliver impeccable service and uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
Guest Experience Enhancement:
- Create an ambiance of sophistication and warmth, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued.
- Monitor guest feedback and reviews, taking proactive measures to address concerns and enhance positive experiences.
- Anticipate guest needs and preferences, fostering a personalized and memorable dining journey.
Team Leadership:
- Train, mentor, and develop staff members to deliver world-class service and elevate their skills and knowledge.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes open communication, respect, and teamwork.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance employee growth.
Financial Management:
- Assist in managing budgets, expenses, and financial targets while maintaining profitability and cost control.
- Monitor inventory levels, control waste, and ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies that drive revenue and profitability.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as local laws and regulations.
- Uphold the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service consistency.
- Conduct regular quality checks to maintain the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role within the fine dining or upscale restaurant industry.
- Strong understanding of Japanese cuisine, culture, and dining etiquette, with direct experience preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, with a track record of creating a positive and high-performing work environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact confidently and professionally with guests and staff.
- Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and presentation.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.
