Job Title: Supervisor/Floor Manager

Location: Caston and Main Brew Yard, 5010 S Main St. Akron, 44319

Hours: Approximately 25-30 hours per week. Availability required on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Sundays are mandatory.

Pay: $16-19 per hour based on experience

Job Description:

Caston and Main Brew Yard is seeking a skilled and experienced Part-Time Assistant General Manager/Floor Manager to join our team. As a vital member of our establishment, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Create Server Sections and Organize Reservations: Utilize our reservation system to create efficient server sections and organize reservations to optimize service flow.
• Assist Servers or Bartenders: Provide support to servers or bartenders with daily tasks as needed to maintain high standards of service.
• Greet Guests and Conduct Quality Check-Ins: Welcome guests upon arrival, conduct quality check-ins at tables throughout their visit, and ensure their satisfaction with the service and experience.
• Handle Customer Concerns: Possess the ability to handle unhappy customers with professionalism and empathy. Utilize your knowledge and expertise to address concerns and ensure a positive resolution to their experience.
• Manage Unruly Customers: Maintain composure and authority to handle unruly customers when necessary, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all patrons.
• Event Setup/Tear Down: Assist in setting up and tearing down events, ensuring all arrangements are in place and handled efficiently. Additionally, accurately invoice guests for event-related services.
• Inventory Management and Ordering: Help manage inventory levels, place orders as needed, and ensure proper organization of supplies to support operations effectively.

Requirements:

• Craft Cocktail Bartending Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in craft cocktail bartending, demonstrating proficiency in mixology techniques and drink preparation.
• Management Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a management role within the hospitality industry, showcasing leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
• Availability: Must be available to work on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with Sunday shifts being mandatory.
• Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and handle challenging situations professionally.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Team Player: Collaborative attitude with a willingness to support team members and contribute to the overall success of the establishment.
