Floor Broker receives buy and sell orders from clients or company executives and completes these orders on the securities trading floor. Evaluates market volatility and ensures clients receive the best rate available. Being a Floor Broker requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and may require state licensure. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Floor Broker typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Responsibilities:
- Install various types of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and carpet
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring, leveling surfaces, and repairing any damage
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate tools and equipment for installation
- Ensure proper alignment and spacing of flooring materials for a professional finish
- Clean and maintain work area before, during, and after installation
Must be able to work with little supervision
Must be sufficient in leading a crew.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in flooring installation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Proficient in using power tools and other equipment necessary for flooring installation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues during installation
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required
