Seeking an energetic and reliable person to serve as Support Service Professional (SSP) assisting a pleasant and easy-going young man with Down Syndrome. Candidate will support him to engage in community activities as well as ADL’s All candidates must possess a strong belief in the participant self-direction model. If you have prior experience working with intellectually disabled adults in a direct care role, we encourage you to apply for this position!

Qualifications:

· Clear Criminal Background checks

· Possession of Valid PA Driver's License with Safe Driving Record, as well as own vehicle.

· Ability to Communicate Effectively

· Occasional need to Kneel, Bend, Squat, and Reach

· Computer Skills Required/Smart Phone for logging in and out.

· Strong work ethic

· Reliable, Dependable, Show up for work on time.

· Daily Documentation and Service Notes to be completed.

Staff will be interviewed, hired, trained, supervised, and managed by the family. Resume’s will be reviewed prior to offer of first interview.

Hours are flexible 10-20 per week.

Pay range $19-$25 per hour depending on education and experience
