Floor Broker receives buy and sell orders from clients or company executives and completes these orders on the securities trading floor. Evaluates market volatility and ensures clients receive the best rate available. Being a Floor Broker requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and may require state licensure. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Floor Broker typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. This is a position that offers growth opportunities for someone new to the industry or an experienced broker. Career coaching, management, systems, support, and leads are available. Maine Real Estate license will be required within three months of association.
Successful Business Brokers often are prior entrepreneurs, appraisers, small business owners, commercial real estate agents, from finance and investment industries, or have business degrees.
This position is full-time and commission-based.
