OUTSIDE SALES - Commercial Flooring

Remote - Work from home or company office

Eagle Mat & Floor Products is looking to add a motivated outside Sales Representative to their team. This position involves working independently to create flooring and matting sales through prospecting and networking with Property Managers, Designers and General Contractors. Flooring experience a plus. Training is available for the right individual. Territory Washington DC Metro area, work from your home office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work independently from home or company office
• Pursue new business opportunities that provide revenue growth
• Travel to appointments in DC, MD and VA
• Perform product presentations
• Take field measurements for material takeoffs
• Prepare cost analysis and detailed proposals
• Negotiate contracts and close business
• Project manage installations
• Maintain records of sales and other business transactions
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
• Other duties as assigned by management

Required Experience/Skills

• Flooring experience or other interiors experience preferred (furniture, wall covering, etc)
• Experience with flooring estimating software a plus
• Microsoft Word, Excel and Dropbox required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a sales environment
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Time management and organizational skills

Compensation: salary plus commission or draw against commission with unlimited earning potential. Medical insurance and 401K.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
