Floor Assembly Supervisor jobs in Oklahoma

We are hiring for an Assembly Supervisor and take charge of overseeing the assembly operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study, schedule, and estimate time, cost, and labor for products and services.
• Requisition materials required to meet production goals.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders, assigning duties to employees accordingly.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules, considering machine and equipment capacities.
• Analyze assembled products to ensure they meet tolerance specifications and recommend measures for improvement.
• Supervise workers using hand tools, jigs, and various power tools and equipment.
• Encourage continuous process improvement and ensure adherence to workplace organization methods.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain updated schedules to meet production deadlines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in general management in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Experience supervising 15 to 25 non-exempt employees.
• Familiarity with ISO Quality Plan and quality control processes.
• Ability to resolve work problems and provide guidance to team members.
• Proficient in interpreting specifications, blueprints, and job orders.
