The Floor Supervisor position entails providing excellent customer service while achieving company expectations. Floor Supervisors will also instill those same qualities into Greeters and Stockers by providing the proper training and adhering to our company policies. Responsibilities of the Floor Supervisor:

• Maintain store cleanliness for customers and staff.
• Check accuracy of product output and displays.
• Greet customers warmly, give them direction when needed, and answer their questions about products, services, prices, and promotions.
• Oversee day-to-day Stockers and Greeters, addressing all shift concerns regarding the daily workload.
• Ensure that company security procedures are always observed to track theft and/or suspicious activity.
• Train Stockers and Greeters to perform their allocated roles.
• Be proactive, checking in periodically with Stockers and Greeters to address any challenges they may encounter, and give them a helping hand when needed.
• Have good communication with the General Manager to ensure department needs are met.
• Ability to address pricing issues with merchandise.
• Ability to work closely with Warehouse staff to ensure product flow throughout the day.

Key skills for a Floor Supervisor:

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to ensure instructions are passed on to Greeters and Stockers.
• Reports are adequately made to Management regarding floor products and store needs.
