I'm working with a leading manufacturing company in Newburyport, MA who are looking for an Assembly Supervisor to join their growing team. In this role, you'll be working across multiple departments including Assembly Operations, Engineering, Maintenance & Quality. Your main objective is to ensure the company's production objectives are met. If you have previous experience in a similar role, please apply below!

Responsibilities:

• Complete production plans and coordinate scheduling for staff
• Set work goals, outline priorities, monitor production activity and revise schedules where necessary
• Supervise staff across departments, enforce policies & procedures
• Make sure production operations meet department goals
• Work with Engineering & Maintenance to ensure all equipment is operational
• Maintain clean and safe working environment
• Work alongside manufacturing leaders to review production processes, cost efficiency improvements, procedures, reports and systems

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Business Management, Manufacturing or Engineering desirable
• Minimum 2 years experience within a manufacturing supervisory role (Medical Device / Semiconductor experience preferred)
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 6S and continuous improvement methods preferred
• Familiar with ERP and MES systems
• Strong emphasis on Quality
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment
