This Supervisor will ensure that staff are appropriately organized, trained, and managed to meet our customer demands for steel and aluminum containers that are assembled primarily via riveting. The right candidate is an organized professional with strong interpersonal skills, who will ultimately be responsible for providing quality products in a timely manner to the most influential and recognizable names in defense.
The incumbent will have:
- 3 years of manufacturing management/supervisory experience
- a bachelor’s or associate's degree in business, engineering, or other related fields AND/OR 5 years of overall manufacturing experience
- proficiency with hand and power tools (ideally experience using them in a manufacturing/assembly environment)
- proficiency in interpreting blueprints/shop drawings
- experience planning production lines
- strong personnel management and communication skills, including strong integrity and the ability to deliver tough messages
- computer competency, specifically with the MS Office suite
Experience with Lean Six Sigma, ERP/MRP systems, and working within ISO9001 and AS9100 standards are pluses.
