Floor Assembler operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures. Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Being an Floor Assembler tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Additionally, Floor Assembler keeps daily assembly production records. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Floor Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Hallowell is currently seeking ASSEMBLERS/WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATES at our Battleboro, NC distribution center. The position will be responsible for assembly and maybe required for picking, packing, receiving, storing, staging, and shipping merchandise accurately while maintaining warehouse inventory.
Additional duties:
Assembling lockers
Packaging product for shipping
Unloading and moving material into warehouse inventory
Ensuring top quality in work preformed
Be able to work in a team environment
Have a strong personal standard, when it comes to Safety, Quality and productivity.
Be able to stand for long periods of time.
Be able to lift 65 Lbs. through-out the day, moving material around
Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00-3:30
