Floor Assembler operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures. Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Being an Floor Assembler tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Additionally, Floor Assembler keeps daily assembly production records. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Floor Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Looking for a technician to be crossed trained in carpet and other types of floor cleaning as well as water restoration. Prefer experience but will train the right candidate. Evening availibility a must as most shifts will be evening time at commercial job sites. Hours vary by scheduled jobs. Get schedule weekly for the next week. Must have valid drivers license and be willing to learn the trade to provide the standard of service we guarantee.
