Floor Assembler operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures. Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Being an Floor Assembler tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Additionally, Floor Assembler keeps daily assembly production records. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Floor Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Job Summary:
· Technician to connect machines from the electrical line to high voltage, set up configurations in PLC’s, HMI’s, Fans, & Compressor Overloads, exercise components, verify sensors, and troubleshoot failures.
Responsibilities:
· Read blueprints and electrical schematics to validate proper wiring and component placement
· Program all VFD and PLC devices by loading programs or manual selection on device interfaces
· Complete set up HMI devices ( if equipped)
· Connect correct voltage to the unit to complete basic power testing functions, such as fan testing.
· Complete additional test, as designed, to cycle test refrigeration and water components
· Correct minor wiring mistakes and collect all defect data
· Work closely with the production and quality team to share defect data and drive improvements
· Validate basic refrigeration requirements, such as flow direction on critical devices and monitor evacuation/pressure gauges.
· Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure power is locked and tagged out appropriately
Qualifications:
· Competency in wiring and associated processes
· Knowledge of reading wiring schematics
· Experience in electrical wiring or equivalent coursework. Experience can include residential or commercial wiring experience.
· 70E training would be a plus.
· PLC control knowledge

· Internal Requirements: 1 years with experience of “Electrician - Assembler III” or 2 years experience in Electrical Apprentice program
· Mechatronics degree or equivalent a plus
