The Urban Float Center Director is responsible for the successful financial and overall operations of the franchise location. This includes, but is not limited to: establishing and achieving membership sales goals, ensuring that excellent customer service is delivered to members and guests, leading by example and inspiring sales and operational leadership for float specialists, and maintaining successful operations of all aspects of the float center which include float pod maintenance and Center cleanliness. Finally, achieving sound financial performance as well as partnering with our marketing partners to help drive traffic and increase sales.

How You Will Lead Your Team to Success
Managing your team with thorough and supportive training and coaching is an essential success factor to achieving your goals. Successfully establish and monitor staff work schedules, and associated HR functions such as recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and terminating. Build upon your staff relationships by consistently evaluating performance, conducting staff and 1:1 meetings, and resolving internal team concerns and disputes. Additionally, you will lead payroll processing and book-keeping tasks. It will be imperative to have strong time-management skills to meet the demands of being present for your staff, managers, and working with our marketing partners.
Establishing Operational Excellence
Managing key business operations including pod and float center maintenance and ensure your Urban Float location meets the highest standard of cleanliness on a daily basis while ensuring a safe environment for employees, members, and guests. Finally, you will continue to develop a culture in the franchise location that embraces and reflects the Urban Float Rehoboth’s core values of optimism, gratitude, excellence, consistency and empathy.
Ideally, you will possess:
· Ability to own and be held accountable for all aspects of Urban Float finances, sales, and operations.
· 2-years of previous spa/retail management, marketing, and sales experience within a wellness service or retail industry.
· Possess the ability to identify and solve problems, set goals and expectations, delegate responsibilities, and effectively interact with and lead staff.
· Exhibit proficiency in establishing membership and retail sales goals and interpreting progress and trends in sales reports.
· Be aware of and comply with all labor and employment laws applicable to employees at the franchised location including local and state licensing laws and regulations related to general business operations.
· Have a strong customer service orientation and be able to communicate effectively with members and guests, prospective clients, vendors, franchise owners, and prospective franchise developers.
· Impeccable communication skills to disseminate information to franchise developer and other individuals in the Urban Float franchise network.
· Possess excellent leadership and influencer skills and the ability to motivate and inspire staff and develop a strong team sales culture.
· Maintain client confidentiality.
· A college degree (preferred).
· Base hours: 40 center hours per week with periodic offsite staff and management meetings.
Performance-based compensation based on meeting sales and budget goals.
