Position Summary:As a Teacher / Float, you will assist other teachers with planning lessons and instructing children in activities according to approved curriculum designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development. Qualifications:- Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience
- Must be able to meet state background check requirements.
- Ability to obtain training in CPR/First Aid, Fire Extinguisher, Food Safety Handling, and other training required.
- Must be willing to obtain a minimum of 24 in-service training hours per year
Education Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED
- DCF Transcript showing the following are completed:
- Part I (30 hours)
- Part II (10 hours)
- Early Literacy for Children Birth to Three (5 hours)
Florida Teaching Requirements:- DCF Child Care Facility Training Requirements
Experience required:- 1 - 2 years teaching experience
- At least 1 employment reference and 2 personal references
