Flight Navigator locates the position of an aircraft and directs its course on domestic and international flights, using navigational aids. May require an associate's degree with at least 4 years of experience in the field. Being a Flight Navigator is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Flight Navigator performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. This requires active listening and empathy to understand the caller’s needs, strong customer service skills, and attention to detail.What are some of the essential functions?
- Answer incoming calls, chats or texts
- Conduct follow-up calls appropriately
- Input call/chat/text reports into appropriate systems
What are the requirements for the positions?- High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or similar program, preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen (post-offer).
- Ability to work shift assigned. (The shift for this position is Monday - Friday, 11a-7p)
- Reliable transportation and a valid, active driver’s license.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Continuous computer work, so candidates must have some computer and typing skills.
