Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Flight Navigator performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. Navigator Recruiting is engaged in a search for a Tax Senior for a reputable CPA firm in DTC. This firm is a paperless, modern practice with a beautiful new office and impeccable clients including some high-net worth clients. The firm is open to a hybrid working arrangement. The firm is looking for someone to be able to prepare a higher percentage of business returns (S Corp, C Corp, Partnerhsip) but also individual tax returns (including high-net-worth returns). If the chosen individual has the experience and/or desire, there is also the opportunity to prepare trust returns and perform valuations and help with litigation work. Total hours worked per year will be 2,200 with 1,800 chargeable hours. Benefits include a bonus, a 401k with a 3% match, vacation, holidays and healthcare is reimbursed (added to salary). Responsibilities
The ideal chosen individual will be responsible for preparation of the following types of tax returns:
- S corp, C corp, partnership and some individual tax returns, including returns for high net worth individuals and celebrities
- Client service
- Tax Planning
Requirements
- BS in Accounting required, Master's in Taxation is a plus
- CPA required
- 5 years public accounting tax experience required
- CCH ProSystem fx experience is required
- QuickBooks experience is also helpful
