We're seeking an individual to bolster our client's Fire & Security Services department in Calvert, AL. If you're equipped to handle emergency medical and firefighting tasks while also contributing to site security, this could be the role for you.

Key Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• Active Driver’s License
• Alabama Professional Standards Fire Fighter I and II certification
• Current Nationally Registered or State of Alabama EMT-Paramedic certification
• Minimum one year of industrial Fire Fighter experience or two years of municipal Fire Fighter experience
• Proficient in tablet and interactive app usage
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
• Desirable Certifications:
• Hazardous Materials Technician
• High Angle/Rope Rescue Technician
• Confined Space Technician
• Structural Collapse Technician
• Trench Rescue Technician

Responsibilities:

• Deliver emergency services promptly
• Operate emergency response vehicles proficiently
• Utilize appropriate firefighting tools to control and extinguish fires
• Conduct search and rescue missions as required
• Handle hazardous materials incidents with safety equipment
• Perform extrication operations when necessary
• Conduct inspections and maintenance on fire suppression systems
• Conduct training sessions as assigned
• Execute various security activities across the plant
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment

Work Environment:

• Fire station facilities
• Mill areas
• Shift schedule: 24 hours on/48 hours off
