Flight Instructor instructs student pilots in flight procedures and techniques in ground school courses and flight training. Prepares lesson plans. Being a Flight Instructor evaluates and monitors students performance. This position is typically is represented by a senior level pilot. Additionally, Flight Instructor the compensation data does NOT reflect salaries of flight instructors from smaller local flight schools who typically work on an hourly basis and consider the accumulation of airtime the highest priority in their respective careers. MyFlight Tours is hiring for our Detroit, MI location.
Job Description:
- Greeting and briefing passengers in a friendly and knowledgeable fashion
- Checking passengers in for their flight and explaining various tour options
- Ensure that all passengers walk in an orderly and safe manner to the helicopter
- Coordinate bookings ensuring all passengers have the correct tour
- Communication with the pilot and other ground staff to ensure all flights are on time
- Maintain the overall appearance of the site, including general cleaning (vacuuming, organizing, etc...)
Commission:
- 5% commission on all upgrades resulting in potential bonus of $4,000 - $15,000 per year.
Schedule:
- Wednesday - Sunday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
