Oversees part installation and inspects adjustments or modifications to existing parts. Being a Flight Inspector (Jet) performs preflight and post flight inspections identifying any breach of standards for safe flight. Requires a high school diploma, a flight inspector license. Additionally, Flight Inspector (Jet) typically reports to the Chief Flight Inspector. The Flight Inspector (Jet) independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. JET Farms is a leading applicator of litter amendment programs servicing various poultry producers throughout the northeast region of North Carolina. We are looking to further expand our services in the Windsor, NC region and are in need of a Custom Applicator Technician. Poultry experience is preferred, but not required-we will teach you!
A CDL Class A or B with a Hazmat and Tanker endorsement is required for this position.
We are a customer service-oriented company seeking individuals willing to go the extra mile to make customers happy. Due to the ever-changing demand of the poultry industry, we do not have set hours as our days stay somewhat flexible as long as customer needs are met. Candidates should be aware that we do require early morning starts on certain days and require weekend work occasionally. This position will require a highly motivated individual who can work well on their own once trained. The individual must have a willingness to learn other positions as our customer demands are ever-changing.
JET Farms is seeking the correct candidate to be trained to custom applicate litter amendments within poultry facilities. This is a safety-sensitive position that will involve mixing, handling, and spraying various chemical solutions including, but not limited to low pH disinfectants.
This position with consist of various working environments including but not limited to confined poultry housing and outdoor operations. Confined poultry housing is a dusty environment and at times may have high levels of ammonia. The company will provide proper training and PPE to personnel to complete day-to-day operations. All personnel will be required to follow company and customer bio-security protocols.
Valid CDL-Class A or B, Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
Medical Examiners Certificate (must pass USDOT physical)
