POSITION OVERVIEW

The NICHOLAS AIR team is growing, and we are looking for a detail-oriented manager to join the family. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in aircraft interior finishes and/or interior detailing, transportation logistics, and managing a dynamic team of individuals through leadership. The Fleet Manager will act as a liaison between the Aircraft Fleet Detailers and Maintenance Department to improve efficiency, and this manager will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Maintenance and to Senior Leadership.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assign schedule and assignments, while facilitating those assignments through management of transportation and logistics
• Ensure quality control and completion of daily assignments
• Schedule aircraft detailing events to coordinate with Maintenance events to maximize efficiency
• Be a resource for Operations and Maintenance team members

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors Degree Preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• 3-5 years of management experience required
• Previous aviation experience preferred

REQUIREMENTS

• This role is required to report daily to the Oxford, MS headquarters.
• Subject to pre-employment & random drug testing
• Must pass a background check
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
