Fleet Manager/Yard Manager/Workshop Manager
ABC Transportation Corp is hiring a Fleet Manager/Yard Manager/Workshop Manager. Work with a company that cares about you and your work. CDL is required (P & S endorsements required)

The Fleet Manager is responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating and supervising the programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal of fleet vehicles. Fleet manager also serves as the primary contact concerning the vehicle fleet and operations. Fleet Manager will make the ultimate decision whether a vehicle is safe to have on the road.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience and knowledge of School Buses and Diesel Engine
• Will be responsible for maintaining fleet in NJ MVC and Federal DOT compliance
• Responsible for workshop and team of mechanics
• Experience in creating and establishing fleet policies and procedures, from vehicle assignment to replacement cycling, from personal use to accident reporting
• Experience in price, spec, and purchase or lease vehicles Understand and track total cost of ownership (TCO)
• Budgetary experience negotiating skills
• The ideal candidate will be able to work Mon-Sat
• Must have a clean CDL license with P & S endorsements
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older, and be able to pass a drug test, physical and a background check.
• Must speak some basic English.
