Fleet Administrator, Sr. jobs in Madison, AL

Fleet Administrator, Sr. assists in administrating and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations. Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator, Sr. prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator, Sr. may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Responsibilities include, with close supervision, but not limited to: Receive daily reservations and maintenance schedules Maintain cleanliness of vehicles Refuel vehicles as needed Perform non-critical maintenance to include, but not limited to battery change, wiper blades install, license plate install, jumpstart dead batteries, air tires, flat tire spare replacement, vehicle lockout, lightbulb replacement, key fob battery replacement, and minor interior trim replacement Monthly vehicle mileage input into government database Bi-Monthly tracking of manufacturer recalls Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs IAW FBI guidelines and manufacturer recommended schedules Input maintenance into government database Update spreadsheets Liaison with repair facilities Input maintenance quotes into government system for payment Maintain accurate and complete records, files Run reports (milage, expiring tags, disposal) Preforms other related duties as assigned Answer customer and client inquiries Perform additional tasks as required by superiors Qualifications 5 years prior experience working in related field. Proficient with computer technology and Microsoft Office applications Strong oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask Reliable and diligent worker Requirement:Top Secret Security Clearance
