Fleet Administrator, Sr. assists in administrating and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations. Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator, Sr. prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator, Sr. may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.   • About the Role 

    We are looking for a strong Sr System Administrator with experience across a breadth of tools and technologies including VMware, Cisco, Active Directory, and SQL. You will be joining a small and highly collaborative team responsible for the data network and core processing system for a financial services company in Lincoln, NE. This role is a blend of systems administration and systems engineering with an emphasis on security. The right candidate will thrive on wearing different hats and have the ability to learn new tools and technologies as their environment continues to evolve. We are also looking for someone who enjoys being in an office and values in-person collaboration. 

    On a daily basis you can expect to: 

    • Lead and maintain bank networks including, but not limited to, local area network, phone network, data transmission networks, and online security system.
    • Lead planning and implementation changes to infrastructure with the goal of enhancing performance.
    • Work closely with the Chief Technology Officer to monitor and maintain system security and implement security procedures, as appropriate.
    • Serve as a member of the IT Steering Committee and Change Advisory Board to champion new products and vendors through the Committee process, including Vendor Due Diligence and contract negotiations.
    • Execute complicated storage and server data backup, data migration, security upgrades, and disaster recovery operations.
    • Lead the configuration and maintenance of office and/or production software, adjunct support and/or utility software, i.e., virus malware protection office application suites and/or application software.
    • Assist in retrieving data for audit and regulatory examinations.
    • Provide technical guidance to Engineers, Administrators, and bank employees; investigate problems resulting from unusual causes or errors in program data. 
    • Manage the maintenance and upkeep of software and hardware of all computer equipment and printers. Monitor changes from vendors on software and hardware; notify users as appropriate.
    • Communicate application problems, application updates, and procedure changes to bank personnel.
    • Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel problem resolution and achieve highest levels of system and infrastructure availability.
    • Monitor the Bank’s applications programs for proper use, potential efficiencies, and improved customer service.
    • Develop rapport and manage business relationships with owners and decision makers through phone calls and onsite visits.
    • Maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system; update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review.
    • Document intricate procedures and maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure

     

    What We’re Looking For: 

    • 8 years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education, preferred.
    • Knowledge and understanding of technology application support, production, and nonproduction environment.
    • Experience with relational database, such as SQL. 
    • Experience with PowerShell scripting. 
    • Ability to handle high volume workload, prioritize and function effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills with focus on teamwork, cooperation, and technical leadership.
    • Demonstrated ability to work well with people, both internally and with external customers and vendors. 

    An especially strong candidate will also have: 

    • Leadership experience as manager, team lead, or mentor
    • Banking or other financial services industry experience.

    Other questions you may have: 

    • This is a full time position with target compensation - $110k-$125k with potential flexibility for the right candidate
    • This role is expected to be onsite 5 days a week with one off exceptions for sick children, bad weather, etc.
