Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator, Sr. prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator, Sr. may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. General Purpose:
Direct day-to-day operations of a DFA maintenance shop in the Mountain Area (MA) East or West, providing preventative and corrective maintenance for DFA-owned equipment. Provide maintenance employees direction that allows them to carry out all programs and policies of DFA. Is responsible for planning, scheduling, and documenting repair work to ensure that all work is done in a safe, compliant, efficient, and cost effective manner.
