Fleet Administrator, Sr. assists in administrating and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations. Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator, Sr. prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator, Sr. may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. The Leidos Intelligence Group has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Administrator in Washington, DC. You will be part of an elite team of IT professionals helping to maintain and secure the enterprise environment for an IC customer.
What you’ll be doing:
Perform System patching and IAVA patches to network routers and switches; IOS and Software upgrades; Create/review and publish in KM system Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for network operations; Troubleshoot systems failures and accessibility problems within the network to our services; Monitor network performance, track usage and develop capacity planning reports; Develop and maintain IP Address allocations tables.
You will also make recommendations that enhance operational efficiencies for network monitoring, management, and overall operations; Use your experience and knowledge articles to understand/implement potential workarounds; Update knowledge articles and handles "how to" questions; Support KM management by entering solutions into the Solutions database; Facilitate engineering designs data calls; Lead new/enhanced network implementation, installation, and technical refresh projects within a site or locale; Manage projects and works independently while providing leadership and guidance to the rest of the Network team; Develop solutions to complex technical issues, will require detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation to understand problems. You will employ creativity and ingenuity for new technical solutions applicable across the enterprise, drawing heavily on prior experience.
Other duties include and are not limited to: Support Network ticket closure across Network OPS staff to include:
Completes initial categorization of Service Requests (type, sub-type, location device, priority, etc.)
Use administrative access to the network to provision new switches, router, VLANs and Krypto.
Uses administrative access to network components to research errors, incidents, problems and to perform incident analysis and identify potential problems.
Routing Service Requests to the appropriate organization required for incident resolution.
Performs root cause analyses.
Completes problem resolutions associated with incident ticket(s)
Configure, deploy, manage, and maintain Network monitoring systems used by the technicians to ensure availability and overall performance of system and services.
Education required: BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
Preferred: Experience or exposure supporting Intelligence Community programs
