Fleet Administrator, Sr. assists in administrating and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations. Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator, Sr. prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator, Sr. may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Description:
Primary responsibilities include: proposal and budget development; University and sponsor policy and guideline interpretation for faculty members and their lab personnel; forecasting expenses and providing regular as well as ad hoc financial reports to Department and faculty; reconciling faculty and lab research needs with overall financial picture and making recommendations regarding spending rates; monitoring accounts to ensure compliance with federal, University and/or sponsor regulations. Other duties include, but are not limited to: acting as effort report coordinator; approving payments over certain dollar thresholds; training lab managers and other lab personnel on sponsored research policies and procedures; assist in implementing policies at the department level and recommend process improvements; help to resolve issues related to research funding and related to migrating and/or transferring labs. This position will be a liaison to Office of Sponsored Programs and other relevant offices in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

- Need to work in office 5 days a week for first 90 days. Once orientation is complete, can work 2-3 days on site
