Fleet Administrator, Sr. assists in administrating and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations. Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator, Sr. prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator, Sr. may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. The Fleet Safety Telematics Program Administrator main duties are management and oversight of all aspects the program. This includes implementation training, troubleshooting, and arranging repair/replacement of dashcams when necessary, daily/hourly monitoring of telematics electronic platform for violations, documenting and communicating prohibited driving actions, ensuring that all detected driving actions are coached/disciplined through driver’s supervision, retrieving dashcam footage when requested/required, serving as a primary point of contact and liaison with dashcam vendor, and keeping DOT/Fleet leadership informed of trends and developments.
