Fleet Administrator assists in administrating and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations. Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     Reyes Fleet Management (RFM) is an essential part of Reyes Holdings. RFM services and maintains the fleet of trucks and equipment for the Reyes Family of Businesses. We are one of the largest fleets in the United States, working within our business unit distribution centers across the nation. We partner with our internal customers in the areas of asset management, safety and compliance, and training. Our goal is to assist in the reduction of cost and risk throughout the Reyes Family of Businesses. In addition to our world-class support, we also manage Reyes Academy – a state-of-the-art training facility in Fredericksburg, Virginia that trains 600 professional drivers a year as well as transportation and other operations management.

     

    Responsibilities

    Come join the Reyes Fleet team at our fleet shops in the City of Industry area.

    • This position will be supporting 3 of our fleet shops ) so you must be available to travel.
    • Experience with commercial parts and invoicing is highly preferred.

    Shift:  1st shift

    Pay:  $25-26/hr

    Position Summary:

    The Operations Support Coordinator will be responsible for processing invoices, tracking inventory levels, order parts and assisting with any day-to-day operations throughout the Reyes Fleet Management shops.

     

    Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: 

    • Assist with the day-to-day operation of the shop parts department in compliance with established policies and procedures 
    • Plans, directs and controls the activities of the parts department to ensure technicians have the parts needed to complete jobs in a timely manner 
    • Responsible for managing the proper inventory levels as directed 
    • Responsible for supporting the Fleet Manager with administrative duties in addition to processing vendor invoices for parts and service 
    • Assist with the department’s results and performance measured against company KPI’S assigned while maintaining the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving the customer and identifying their needs 
    • Assist with any audits related to the Fleet 
    • Communicate professionally with customers and vendors on a regular basis 
    • Other projects or duties as assigned 

    Qualifications

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED 
    • Knowledge of automotive parts (i.e., experience working in an auto parts store, auto dealership, truck dealerships, etc.) 
    • 2 years related experience 
    • Valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles. 
    • Acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. 
    • Candidate must display excellent leadership and communication skills, must have strong work ethics with a commitment to work extra when needed, along with computer application skills. 
    • This job will require 5 % travel annually 
    • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test 

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Experience with tractor and/or trailer parts
