The Opportunity

We’re looking to hire a Brokerage Consultant – Fixed Income for the Trading team. You’ll service fixed income trading for retail salesforce, executing and assisting in bond practices. You’ll execute client buy and sell orders adhering to best execution standards, internal policies, and regulatory obligations. Also, you’ll oversee the processing of daily functions, complete departmental controls reporting, and assist with audit reviews.

The Impact:

As the Brokerage Consultant – Fixed Income, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Ensures trading procedures are properly executed and that compliance policies are followed
• Provides trading related guidance to enhance representative’s portfolio strategies.
• Draws from knowledge on specific markets to develop trading strategies that respond to trends in the current market.
• Performs market research, analyzes market conditions and works with field representatives to characterize current conditions in fixed income markets.
• Responds to inquiries on market and economic conditions as well as investable instruments and strategies.

The Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• FINRA Series 7 & FINRA 63
• 2 years of experience in wealth management industry
• 1 year of experience with Excel

The Ideal Qualifications

• 2 years of Fixed Income Trading Experience including municipal bonds, corporate bonds, treasuries, agencies, CDs, MBS & CMOs

• Strong appreciation of client service. Must have the ability to work in a team environment and be focused no providing high quality service to our clients.
• MBA/ Progress toward MBA desired
• CFA/Progress toward CFA desired
