Compensation:
$50 - $75 hourly
Responsibilities:-
Oversee business administration by regularly updating financial records, financial documents, and accounting systems, and conduct financial reporting on a regular basis
- Perform internal auditing
- Ensure accounts payable and accounts receivable are completed in a timely manner
- Communicate with tax accountants to keep track of payments and returns
- Report our sales-to-income effectiveness by forecasting revenue and analyzing our profit margin
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Conduct detailed financial analysis and evaluate tax implications related to clients' financial situations

Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial documentation, answer inquiries, and provide proactive tax planning advice

Perform general accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and changes that may impact clients' financial obligations

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, assisting them in their professional development
Qualifications:-
Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Must have passed the uniform CPA examination from the AICPA and be CPA certified within the state board of accountancy regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, Master’s degree preferred but not required
- Must be well-versed in general accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Valid CPA license with a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and accounting.

Solid understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws, as well as expertise in tax research.

Proficient in using tax software and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
