Flex Fitness Instructor (contract opportunity) – Kingsport, Tennessee

Develop, administer, and deliver in-person fitness classes for the older adult population.  Keep accurate sign-in sheets and track attendance in the instructor portal after each class

Employment Status: Independent Contractor

Location: Humana Neighborhood Location – Kingsport

Hours of Work: Contractual, dependent on task. Availability to teach 1-3 classes/wk

Qualifications:

·        Hold current group exercise, personal trainer certification from accredited organization, or other certification from a specialized discipline.

·        Hold Current CPR Certificate

·        Expert knowledge of health, wellness, and fitness industry standards.

·        Experience teaching older adult fitness.

·        Completion of SilverSneakers Foundations online training within 6 months of signing contract.

·        Moderate degree of computer literacy (Microsoft Office), technology, and other virtual training tools (for example, laptop with access to internet and email).

·        Ability to function independently with little supervision.

·        Excellent interpersonal relationship and leadership skills.

·        High speed internet with minimum 15Mbps upload/150Mbps download speed.

·        Hold current professional liability insurance
