Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Director to join our team. As the Fitness Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fitness facility, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Duties:
- Develop and implement fitness programs and classes to meet the needs of our members
- Supervise and train fitness staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Create schedules for fitness classes and personal training sessions
- Monitor facility cleanliness and maintenance, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for members
- Collaborate with other departments to promote fitness programs and events
- Conduct regular assessments of member satisfaction and make necessary improvements
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in fitness management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of retail sales, wireless sales, or POS systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Retail management or assistant manager experience is preferred
