    AMERICAN BACKFLOW AND FIRE PREVENTION is a growing life safety company in IL. We are the true one stop shop for our customers. We are looking for highly trained Fire Alarm Specialist to work in our fast-growing fire sprinkler, fire alarm, fire pump, fire suppression and backflow divisions.

    We are looking for Fire Alarm Inspectors with Full time positions available.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conducting fire alarm testing and inspections
    • Documents all results in IPAD
    • Ensure that all systems are operating properly upon leaving
    • Report problems or deficiencies resulting from the inspection
    • Complete reports and paperwork associated with the inspection
    • Train and work with apprentices

    Qualifications:

    • 3 years of experience
    • NICET certification (I or II) strongly preferred, but not required
    • Good communication skills
    • Strong Safety awareness
    • Fire alarm experience
    • Ability to identify issues found during testing
    • PERC Card
