*This position is 20-25 hours per week, schedule to be determined after hire. The tentative
start date is early May to early October (about 5 months)
*Some knowledge in both grounds care and maintenance and facility repair
*Be familiar with various tools used for groundskeeping, such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, pressure washers, gardening tools, etc.
*Be familiar with various maintenance and facility repair tools, such as hand and power tools.
*Ability to utilize personal protective equipment
*Be able to communicate effectively and have good organizational skills.
*Contribute positively to a working environment that is respectful and responsive to both the needs of employees and management.
*Work independently with limited direction.
*Maintain accurate records and take responsibility for correcting errors.
*Ability to act professionally and develop cooperative relationships with other department work units, supervisors, and the general public.
