Fire Inspector conducts inspections of new and existing buildings to ensure compliance with fire and safety codes. Prepares reports and issues violation documents. Being a Fire Inspector documents and defines actions needed to resolve non-compliance situations. Conducts fire investigations. Additionally, Fire Inspector has extensive knowledge of codes, ordinances, construction materials, and alarm systems. Typically requires an associate degree in fire science or equivalent. Has completed fire inspection training and may require the Certified Fire Inspector I (CFI) credential and applicable State License. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Fire Inspector is capable of working on complex problems and exceptions without direct supervision. Has a wide and comprehensive understanding of both general and specific aspects of the job. Your Compensation and Benefits:
· Pay Rate: DOE $35- $45/hour.

Your Full Time Opportunity:
· Perform Testing & Inspections surveys for assigned customers and submit appropriate reports
· Communicate all work order status changes to our Customer Support team
· Interface with internal customers and external customers (as requested) to resolve conflicts relating to survey and report deliverables; and Identify ways to reduce cost, improve productivity and quality in the delivery of our service
· To set you up for success, you will get started in your new role by attending Telgian’s exclusive Field Inspector Training (FIT) program followed by job-shadowing one of your fellow inspectors and regular interactions with the Regional Field Supervisor.
· Telgian will provide all of the necessary tools to set you up for success including computer, tablet, phone, printer, etc. We will even provide a clothing and shoe allowance along with many other perks.
