Fire Inspector conducts inspections of new and existing buildings to ensure compliance with fire and safety codes. Prepares reports and issues violation documents. Being a Fire Inspector documents and defines actions needed to resolve non-compliance situations. Conducts fire investigations. Additionally, Fire Inspector has extensive knowledge of codes, ordinances, construction materials, and alarm systems. Typically requires an associate degree in fire science or equivalent. Has completed fire inspection training and may require the Certified Fire Inspector I (CFI) credential and applicable State License. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Fire Inspector is capable of working on complex problems and exceptions without direct supervision. Has a wide and comprehensive understanding of both general and specific aspects of the job. Before and After School Program positions available in elementary schools in Anchorage and Eagle River. Programs run from 7-9am (7-10 am on Monday) and again from 3:15-6:15pm, Monday through Friday. Program operates throughout the entire school year, beginning August 7, 2023 with training and ending with closeout on May 22, 2024.
Assistant Site Director: Work between 25 to 30 hours per week (average) at $18.90 to $21.56 per hour supporting the Site Director in planning, management, and supervision of an assigned site and support the program quality with age-appropriate activities, coaching, and supervision of site staff.
REQUIREMENTS: (can be acquired after hire with agreed upon schedule): Adult/Child/Infant CPR, AED & First Aid; Food Worker Card; Mandated Reporter training certificate; Health & Safety certificate.
