Joey’s Servers are enthusiastic, engaging and Guest driven to provide an excellent dining experience. The ideal Server ensures that all Guests are provided with prompt, friendly service. Servers describe menu items, assist in making food and beverage selections, efficiently enter orders, deliver food and beverages, process payments, and assist colleagues in all aspects of ensuring Guest satisfaction at Joey’s.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that every guest feels welcome and is given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times; is upbeat, outgoing and positive.
Observant and responsive, alert to Guests’ needs.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Willingness to learn both typical POS and hand held POS devices.
Ability to work effectively within a Team.
Available for Training prior to going on the floor.
Participate in dining room setting: décor, condiments, service plates, etc.
Assist Guests in food and beverage selections, suggesting courses, explaining specialties and answering food questions.
Protect establishment and Guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a full service, high volume establishment.
Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time.
Continuous use of hands, arms, bending, reaching, and twisting.
Ability to carry 35 pounds as needed and carry trays as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Reliable transportation required.
