Financial Systems Manager manages a team of analysts responsible for the implementation and administration of the organization's financial systems. Oversees the daily operations of the department.     Project Overview

    Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake. The Infrastructure Global Business Unit (GBU) is executing site civil and marine scopes of work associated with our scopes of work on the Energy GBU LNG projects.

    Position Summary

    The Energy GBU Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) Organization is looking for a skilled IT professional for a Field IT Technician position for a large-scale LNG project based in Port Arthur, Texas. The IT Technician's scope includes, and is not limited to diagnose, troubleshoot, and support project automation needs for the deployed IT infrastructure at the jobsite. The Field IT Tech performs work that requires the application of a significant range of fundamentals of information technology principles in a variety of contexts while demonstrating strong technical abilities in areas including; computer hardware support, network/telecommunications, information security, and overall IT infrastructure operations.


    Responsibilities

    • Deskside and mobile device deployment and support.
    • Asset Management and Call management using Service Now.
    • Deployment and support of network and local server infrastructure.
    • Plan and implement IT equipment and services as the project progresses.
    • Coordination with site and IS&T procurement.
    • Coordination with IS&T Service Center, Vendors, and Bechtel Corporate Support teams.
    • Maintains a strong attention to detail and ability to concentrate in a distracted environment.
    • IT Security – Application of Bechtel INFOSEC standards and policies.
    • Individual must possess strong suite of interpersonal skills required for working with a diverse workforce.


    Qualifications and Skills

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or other IT related Technology (equivalent years of experience considered).
    • Possesses 5-8 years of IT experience in a field construction location.
    • Must be able to legally work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.
    • 5 years of experience with standard Deskside hardware and operating systems including system architectures, network infrastructures, client server principles, backup, recovery, and storage policies and procedures, and planning and implementing disaster prevention and recovery.
    • 5 years of experience identifying, tracking and resolving problems using comprehensive techniques and methods of troubleshooting end-user problems.
    • 5 years of experience with hardware and operating systems including system architectures, network infrastructures, client server, principles, backup, recovery, and storage policies and procedures, and planning and implementing disaster prevention and recovery.
    • 5 years of experience assisting with the development and execution of IT plans associated with key business initiatives.


    Additional Qualifications

    • Experience with the planning, coordination and execution of IT plans associated with EPC projects.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of process design and techniques, project management processes and tools (e.g. project scheduling, budgeting, status reporting).
    • Knowledge of ServiceNow IT management platform.
    • A Certification.
    • CompTIA Security and Network Plus.
    • Experience with Ubiquiti bridges and camera systems.
    • Networking and Active Directory experience.
