KBW has partnered with a rapidly growing manufacturer in Portsmouth, NH who is seeking to hire a Accounts Payable Analyst. This position with sit within the accounts payable team and would start with processing full cycle accounts payable related invoices, working with vendors on payment timelines and discrepancies and ensure accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices. 

This position will transform once up to speed with the accounts payable process into a AP analyst where you would be responsible for analyzing vendor and payments trends, creating AP trend analysis reporting and other key metric reviews. Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Analyst:

• Manage the end-to-end process of full cycle invoice payments, ensuring compliance with financial policies.
• Verify, classify, and record accounts payable data daily.
• Investigate and reconcile any discrepancies in vendor accounts.
• Collaborate with various departments to facilitate timely and accurate invoice payments.
• Analyze transactions and financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance working capital.
• Maintain integrity and compliance in all accounts payable processes, including adherence to tax and regulatory guidelines.
• Engage in spend analytics to provide actionable financial insights.
• Handle vendor communications to resolve invoice discrepancies effectively.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Exceptional skills in Excel and familiarity with mid to large accounting ERP systems is a plus 
• A proactive, creative thinker who is enthusiastic about identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships and working collaboratively across departments.
• Intermediate Excel knowledge is required (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, etc.)
